Get involved -
If you want to do more than just come along
to the Green Fair, we would love to hear from you!
Volunteers are the heart and soul of the Camden Green Fair. It was begun
in 1991 by volunteers from the local community, continues to be run to
a large extent by volunteers, and as a registered charity, is guided by
a voluntary Board of Trustees.
Volunteering on the day - last call!
We have an army of goodnatured, patient, and generally wonderful volunteers
who do everything from stewarding, litter picking, talking to visitors,
getting feedback, assisting in the different zones, helping with bands...
and this year ONLY we need DANCERS too - more details on application!
If you can spare 4 hours on the day (morning, afternoon, or evening shift):
want a free lunch, travel expenses and a goody bag: and fancy being part
of the team that puts on the event, then just fill in the form (see
below), and return to the
volunteer coordinator.
The delivery team meets once a month throughout the year
to plan the event. As a volunteer you can take on a zone to coordinate,
help us with marketing and communications, fundraising, liaising with
schools.. or suggest something new and take it on! You can email the
volunteer coordinator to discuss any of the above.
